    details eg. contact names, addresses, phone number email addresses Charitable
    Trusts and Foundations, small charitable organisations, Limited businesses and
    individuals.
  • Medical
    information eg. Type of respiratory/medical conditions
  • Photographs
    of service users, members of staff, volunteers and fundraisers.
  • Contact
    details name, address, phone numbers of employees, volunteers and trustees.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • For
    the processing of nebuliser compressor donation application forms and the
    ongoing provision of our Nebuliser Care & Support Service
  • For
    applying for funding for our charitable purposes
  • Photographs – for our website, social media, fundraising application and impact reports

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • Just Giving & CAF (Charities Aid Foundation)
    we receive online donation reports which are used
    to monitor online donations and provide charity information, by letter or
    email, to donors unless stated that they do not want to receive information for
    us.
  • Hospitals,
    Community Nursing Teams, Doctors’ Surgeries, Hospices, Care givers and Social Workers
  • The
    information is used for the ongoing provision of our Nebuliser Compressor Donation &
    Support Service, administration purposes, to process and acknowledge receipt of
    donations.

We may share information ie. Names of hospitals, doctors’ surgeries etc. with our fundraisers.  We may also share names of charitable organisations with other such organisations for fundraising purposes. 

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

Your information is securely stored on a laptop computer database and paper copies of application forms in a file stored in our charity office

We keep names, addresses, phone numbers, date of birth, NHS numbers, medical conditions, doctors’ details for as long as we provide a service to you or until you request that your information is removed. We will then dispose your information by deleting it from our database and destroying paper copies.
